Wade Creswell is a third-generation Roane Countian, raised in Kingston, and a lifelong servant of the entire community. He graduated from Roane County High School in 1992, received his Associate Degree from Roane State Community College, a Bachelor of Science from East Tennessee State University, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Tennessee. After returning home from ETSU, he worked at Roane Medical Center as an RN in critical and emergency care. That led to a 25-year career of opportunities in leadership and management positions at the Michael Dunn Center, the Roane Alliance, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. He previously served on Kingston City Council from 2003-07. While serving as the President and CEO of the Roane Alliance, Roane County added over 700 industrial jobs and grew the membership of the Roane Chamber by over 100 members. He built strong working relationships in Oak Ridge with officials at DOE, federal contractors, and city officials. Wade took office as the Roane County Executive on September 1, 2022. Creswell has been married for 23 years to Juanita, who taught math at Midway High School for 20 years. Their son RJ is a sophomore at Midway High School. Wade is the son of Bob and Chris Creswell, both Kingston natives. Wade loves to serve his community and his church, The Grove.
